Mercedes L4500A - part 3 (Base painting)

Hey dear readers,

I's been a while... again... many personnal projects with my wife and... you know... buzy life apologies  ; )

Anyway I made some progres on the L4500A. I finished the driver, the inside of the cab and closed it (some joints were hard to make disappear). I sprayed the base coat on the truck and started the chipping work on the wooden cargo bed! I used Tamiya paints and used the hairspray technique (for the first time) to achieve the first chips on the cargo bed. I painted the base coat in a kind of light modulation style. I'm not 100% satisfied with the chips and will rework them with a fine brush and Vallejo paints. Afterwards, I will use oil paints, pigments and pastel powders for the weathering.

By the way... work as started on the load that will find place in ihe cargo bed... but that will be the subject of a next update!

As always, don't hesitate to leave comments, questions and constructive critisims. They're always welcome .

STAY TUNED!

HAPPY MODELLING!
